Hide Menu Items
Logically, WordPress should hide pages marked ‘private’ or ‘draft’ from all menus, but this behavior doesn’t happen if the page is listed on a custom menu. This plugin fixes that behavior and automatically hides private pages from the menu for all users, without having to edit the menu item. This is the simplest way to quickly hide a published page temporarily. Simply mark the page ‘private.’ Later, to show the page in the menu again, unset the ‘private’ check box.
